One benefit to being a professional landscaper is the ability to beautify your own lawn. We needed some eye-appealing landscaping in the front yard of our new house. Not only did it look bare, but there were a lot of erosion problems. In order to prevent more erosion and enhance the curbside appeal, we decided to add landscaping beds and various shrubs throughout. We agreed that a more traditional look was what we wanted, so we decided to stick to traditional plantings such as boxwoods, Alberta spruces and holly. We worked out the design and came up with a plan.

We bordered the entire front and side of the house with a mulched bed that housed the various plantings we enjoyed. We also made choices that would ensure something was always blooming - spring, summer and fall. The changes have greatly enhanced the property and have also solved our erosion problems.
